SPORTS
 
  If you have decided to visit Valencia, you must know it has great possibilities to see and practice any sport, with the best facilities for it.

  -  FOOTBALL
 
  There are many football fields and facilities in different parts of the city. Valencia has two teams in the so called national categories, with their corresponding football fields. These teams are Valencia C.F. and Levante F.C. Mestalla football field is the place where most of the history of Valencia C.F. has taken place. Great sports events have been held here, and it has been recently restructured. Up to 55.000 colourful and noisy supporters can see their team every Sunday.
 We suggest you to visit the Sports facilities in Paterna, where you will be able to see Valencia players training for the next match.
   

  -  GOLF
 
  This sport is very practiced in many parts of the Comunidad Valenciana.

 We are one of the areas in Spain with more golf courses. There 22 courses in complete harmony with the mediterranean landscapes, all of them in a privileged location, designed by the most renowned designers and golf professional players. The province of Castellón has 3 courses, Valencia has 3 more and the rest are in Alicante.
 The golf course of El Saler is considered as one of the best 50 in the world and third in the european ranking. Apart from enjoying this sport, you will be able to relax in the luxourious Sidi Hotel, and in summer, swim in its wonderful beach.

  -  MOTORCYCLING
 
  Motorcycling sports have suitable facilities thanks to the great Circuito de Velocidad Ricardo Tormo, whose name pays tribute to the valencian winner of the World Championship. In the Comunidad Valenciana there has always been thousands of unconditional supporters and many pilots, like Jorge Martínez “Aspar”, “Champi” Herreros or the aforesaid Ricardo Tormo (apart from the Formula 1 ex-pilot Adrián Campos), who have grown professionaly thanks to the numerous races held throughout the Comunidad.

 In general, the possibilities in Valencia for all sorts of sports events are varied, both to practice and to attend as part of the audience. The old bed of the river Turia, with 1.000.000 m2, is a perfect sports complex to practice athletism, footing, cycling, football, rugby, baseball, skating, minigolf, petanque and skate-board.

 Those who like sailing and all water sports in general, will find a good place to enjoy them in the Real Club Náutico of Valencia and, in general in the privileged beaches on our coasts. As much if you live in Valencia as if you are just a tourist, you can practice or be present in your favourite sport events by contacting us.
