“Agua de Valencia” (a cocktail with orange juice, vodka and champagne) or “Horchata”. This famous sweet drink, which must be served cold, is made from grinded “chufas” or earth almonds, water and almonds. It’s worth going to Alboraya to taste, according to the tradition, the best “horchata” in Valencia, together with the typical “Fartons”, a kind of sweet sponge cake shaped as little bars, made from a dough containing flour, water or milk, sugar,oil, yeast and eggs.
