Apart from the 8 days regarded throughout the year as holidays in all parts of Spain, and four more  in every "autonomía" (the spanish administrative division of the territory), every single town can choose two more days which are also considered as local holidays. So, in the Comunidad Valenciana, these exclusive days are April 21th and October 9th , for their traditional characteristics. January 22th (Saint Vincent Martyr) and April 28th (Saint Vincent Ferrer) are holidays only in the city of Valencia.
