CENTER ZONE

  Delimited by the streets of Guillem de Castro, Blanquerías, Pintor Lopez, Colon and Xàtiva, includes all the historical zone of the city, also denominated "Ciutat Vella". In this nucleus are concentrated the more emblematic monuments and buildings . Historical Center, North Zone: Cathedral, Basilica of Virgen de los Desemparados, Church of San Salvador, Gardens of the Túria, Museum San Pío V, Towers of Serranos, District of the Carmen, Valencian Institute of Art Modern - IVAM, Church of San Nicolas. Historical Center, South Zone: Market, Central Market, Church of San Agustín, Central Railway Station, Church of San Martín, National Museum of Ceramics, School of the Patriarch, San Juan of the Hospital, Santo Domingo.

EAST ZONE

  From the Alameda Av. to Blasco Ibáñez, it covers the area starting in Primado Reig towards the Cataluña and Barcelona Avs. and the Puerto Av. The East zone stretches until the Cabanyal and opens to the sea until the beach and the seaport: from Port Saplaya to the Malvarrosa and Las Arenas beaches. Aragón Av., Cardenal Benlloch or Manuel Candela are the main avenues that interconnect the first part of the East zone, where many University departments are located.

NORTHEAST ZONE

  The limits are Primado Reig Av., Catalunya Av. towards Barcelona Highway and Emilio Baró St. towards Alboraia, and it covers the zone that goes from the area of Benimaclet to Alboraia

NORTH ZONE

  This zone starts in the Pont de Fusta, halfway between Burjassot Av. and Vivero Gardens, and stretches until the north area of Valencia, whose limits are in Benicalap and Ciudad Fallera, where the museum with the same name is located. This north zone has an extension on the other side until Tavernes Blanques and Almàssera.
Areas as Benicalap, Orriols and Morvedre are interconnected by Pesset Aleixandre, Constitución and Primado Reig avenues.

NORTHWEST ZONE

  It covers the area that goes from Menéndez Pidal Av., and its extension until Tirso de Molina st., to the Burjassot Av. towards the Palacio de Congresos. It's in this zone where we can find large commercial and leisures areas. Maestro Rodrigo Av., General Avilés and Fernando el Católico, connect all the area from one extreme to the other.

WEST ZONE

  It covers all the area between Guillem the Castro and Paseo de la Pechina, with an extension until Picanya road. The botanical garden is between Gran Vía Fernando el Católico and Guillem de Castro. Gran Vía Fernano el Católico, Pérez Galdós Av. and Cid Av. are the main avenues that cross the west area from one extreme to the other. This area goes as far as Mislata Favara and Vara de Quart.

SOUTHWEST ZONE

  Area that starts in España Square and covers the zone that between Giorgeta Avenue and San Vicente St. until the cross with Archiduque Carlos St. The southwest area stretches until zones of San Marcelino and San Isidro, with the limit on the City Cemetery, next to the South ring road. Tres Cruces, Gaspar Aguilar and Fontanares avenues are the connections between the neighbourhoods of Patraix and Jesús.

SOUTH ZONE

  The South area of the city starts in the Norte Railway Station, located in Xàtiva St. It stretches from the Bullfighting Ring along along Colón St, which constitutes the main access to the Market that has the same name. The limits of this area are, on one side, San Vicente St. and on the other, Ciudadela Av., connected with El Saler Highway. Zones as El Pla del Remei, L'Eixample, Russafa, Monteolivete, Malilla o Fuente de San Luis are the continuation of this area until the fourth southern ring road. Most of the traffic goes along avenues such as Gran Vía Marqués del Turia, Peris y Valero or Avenida de la Plata, that connect this area, from the furthest northern part, to the southern limit.

SOUTHEAST ZONE

  Leaving the Zaragoza Square behind, and taking as a reference point the "Palau de la Música" towards the Francia Av., the southeast zone covers the left side of the old bed of the river Turia until the seaport. There are two main avenues that connect this zone with the sea: Puerto Av. and el Saler Highway. Big areas as El Grao, Poblats Marítims or Nazaret have their origins in the oldest traditions of sailors and sea. The Arenas beach, next to the Neptuno promenade, limits on the South with this area of the city of Valencia
