BIOPARC

This innovate zoo, in which the barriers are practically invisible and the animals feel right at home, convers some 100.000 square metres and is located in the Parque de Cabecera within the former Turia Riverbed.

Contrary to traditional zoos, this park has the uique faeture of bringing the visitor totally into the habitat of the animals. This is Known as zoo immersion.

We can find: Reflections of Africa in Bioparc Valencia. The animals live together in the Bioparc as they would in nature, in groups of the same species co-existing in the same habitat. They are separated from one another by natural barriers such as rock, rivers, and bridges that are invisible to the visitor´s eyes. Depending on wich ecosystem we find ourselves in, we are able to see the different animals that live there.

 

OPENING HOURS:

The Bioparc is open 365 days a year and opening hours will be vary depending on the amount of sunlight at different times of the year. The box office will remain open from 09:30 a.m. until one hour before Bioparc closes.

* March, April and May:
- Monday to Fraday from 10 am-6 pm
- Weekends and public holidays from 10 am-7 pm, except for Saturdays in May from 10 am-8 pm

June:
- Monday to Fraday from 10 am-7 pm
- Weekends and public holidays from 10 am-9 pm

July and August:
- Every day from 10 am-9 pm

September:
- From 1 Sep. to 15 Sep., 10 am- 8 pm every day
- From 15 SEp. to 30 Sep., Monday to Fraday 10 am- 6pm, Saturday 10 am- 8 pm, and Sunday 10 am-7 pm. 

October:
- Monday to Friday from 10 am-6 pm
- Saturday 10 am-8 pm
- Sunday and public holidays, 10 am-7 pm

November and December:
- Every day from 10 am-6 pm
